We meet on the last Tuesday of each month (normally) in Heyford Park near Bicester to reconnect, share what’s actually going on, swap ideas and build relationships that grow because people keep showing up - not because they shouted the loudest.
You’ll recognise faces. Conversations pick up where they left off. And there’s a sense that you’re not building your business in isolation.
Most months include a short Community Spotlight / Bizboost Session- something practical and down-to-earth to spark ideas. Useful? Absolutely. The main reason to come? Not really.

Hi 👋 I’m Andrew (Andy) Selway-Woolley, founder of Heyford Park Business Network and a therapist based here in Heyford Park.
Alongside running the network, I work across two therapy practices — HeadFirst Hypnotherapy and Andrew Selway Counselling & Psychotherapy - supporting people both locally and online.
Through HeadFirst Hypnotherapy, I offer solution-focused hypnotherapy for people, including business owners who want practical, forward-focused support with things like anxiety, confidence, stress, fears and phobias, habits and feeling overwhelmed or stuck.
Through Andrew Selway – Counselling & Psychotherapy, I offer a more exploratory space to talk, make sense of what’s happening and work through difficulties at your own pace.
My background is firmly rooted in business. I spent more than 20 years working in senior HR and recruitment, and have run my own recruitment agency, HR consultancy and, now, therapy practices. I’ve been self-employed for many years, so I understand first-hand both the opportunities and the pressures that come with running your own business. That experience has really shaped Heyford Park Business Network — and my belief that having the right people around you can make a huge difference.

Walking into networking can feel a bit “where do I stand?” - so we’ve made that part simple. Our Community Connectors are regulars who genuinely enjoy introducing people, spotting common ground and making sure no one’s left orbiting the coffee table. You’ll start recognising them pretty quickly — and that familiarity is part of what makes Heyford feel like Heyford.

Hi, I'm Andy Selway, I'm a Clinical Hypnotherapist and my business is called HeadFirst Hypnotherapy based in Heyford Park.
Founder of Heyford Park Business Network
Hi 👋 I’m Andy Selway-Woolley. I created Heyford Park Business Network because I believe running a business is better when you have good people around you.
I’ve previously organised and grown networking communities in London and Hertfordshire, and when I moved to Heyford Park, I wanted to create something here — but lighter, more relaxed and much less formal. A place for local small business owners, freelancers and solopreneurs to meet without the pressure, pitches or awkward networking nonsense.
At heart, the Network is about people. Real conversations, genuine connections and a community that supports each other — whether that leads to a new client, a collaboration, a useful introduction, or simply having people around you who understand the ups and downs of running a business.
Whether you’re a confident networker or quietly stepping outside your comfort zone, you’ll be warmly welcomed. Expect friendly faces, good conversations, plenty of encouragement — and a few laughs along the way.
